I was trained as a biologist at the Ecole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure<\/a> in Paris. I specialized in Ecology and Evolution and more precisely the evolution of social behaviours. I did my PhD under the direction of Dan Sperber<\/a> at the Institut Jean Nicod<\/a> in Paris (France) and in 2009 I defended my PhD thesis entitled \u201cDarwinian theories of cultural evolution: models and mechanisms\u201d (in French here<\/a>). I worked with Andrew Whiten at the Psychology department of St Andrews University from 2010 to 2013 first with a Fyssen Foundation fellowship<\/a> then with a Templeton Foundation <\/a> and Wellcome Trust<\/a> grant. In 2013 I joined the comparative cognition team led by Jo\u00ebl Fagot<\/a> at the LPC<\/a> with a ANR<\/a> PDOC grant.<\/p>\n

Je suis entr\u00e9 a l’\u00c9cole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure<\/a> de Paris en 2000 ou j’ai suivis le magist\u00e8re de biologie en me sp\u00e9cialisant en \u00c9cologie et \u00c9volution et plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment dans l’\u00e9tude de l’\u00e9volution des comportements sociaux. J’ai obtenu l’agr\u00e9gation de Science de la vie, de la Terre et de l’Univers en 2004 et compl\u00e9t\u00e9 le magist\u00e8re de l’ENS en 2005. De 2005 a 2009 j’ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une th\u00e8se de doctorat, sous la direction de Dan Sperber<\/a> a l’Institut Jean Nicod<\/a> a Paris. J’ai d\u00e9fendu ma th\u00e8se intitul\u00e9e “Th\u00e9ories darwiniennes de l’\u00e9volution culturelle : mod\u00e8les et m\u00e9canismes” en 2009 (vous pouvez la lire ici<\/a>). J’ai ensuite ensuite travailler au d\u00e9partement de psychologie<\/a> de l’universit\u00e9 de St Andrews (\u00c9cosse) avec Andrew Whiten<\/a> de 2009 a 2013, d’abord avec une bourse d’\u00e9tude de la Fondation Fyssen<\/a> puis grace aux financements de la Fondation Templeton<\/a> et de la Wellcome Trust<\/a>. En 2013 j’ai rejoins l’\u00e9quipe de Jo\u00ebl Fagot<\/a> au LPC<\/a> gr\u00e2ce au financement de l’ANR<\/a> (programme PDOC).<\/p>\n
